The EU Construction Products Regulation (CPR) lays down conditions for marketing construction products. It came into force on 1 July 2013 and specifies the following two requirements:
- Declaration of Performance: This replaced the Declaration of Conformity in 2013. The Declaration of Performance documents the essential product characteristics and features for all construction products that already have a standard technical specification within the EU.
- CE label: With this label, the manufacturer guarantees that the declared product performance is correct and that all applicable requirements and regulations in the CPR have been complied with.
